LOST PENDANT IN LONG BRANCH NJ FOUND BY MATT ST.GERMAIN
Earlier today i was contacted by fellow Ring Finder Dave Milsted. He referred me to a woman named Patty. While at the beach in front of their condominium building with her husband and grandchildren in Long Branch NJ. Her husband shook out their beach bag and unfortunately in the process her Star of David pendant fell out of the bag somewhere. They tried to find it but were unsuccessful. I made arrangements with her to do a search in the evening. Her poor husband was very upset that he had lost it. I was determined to find it. She met me at the beach and showed me where they were sitting approximately. I searched the area with no luck. I then began to widen the search area and Patty then approached me and told me she didn’t think they were that far. But i told her it can get moved by the beach rakes and also the lifeguard stands are never in the exact spot each day. So i kept expanding the area and after about 30-45 mins, About 20ft away from where she estimated they were sitting, I found it! She was overjoyed! I am so happy i was able to find this very important sentimental pendant for her! I never get tired of these happy endings!

LOST WEDDING RING IN LBI NJ FOUND BY MATT ST.GERMAIN
A few hours ago i was contacted by Kara. While at the beach with her husband and children her husband Pat lost his wedding band in the sand. After about an hour of combing through the sand they were unable to find it. I drove out to their location within an hour and in about a minute i had the ring in my scoop! Another great ending!

LOST WEDDING BAND IN LBI, NJ FOUND BY MATT ST.GERMAIN
6/24/20 The night before i was contacted by Stephanie on behalf of her cousin Tyler. While at the beach in LBI yesterday he had lost his Heirloom wedding band from his Grandfather. He put it in his beach bag before swimming, Forgot it was in there and shook the sand off/out the bag along with the ring. He did not realize it until later that night after they already left the beach. I went out there this afternoon and spoke with Steph on the phone since they were no longer in town. She also sent me some photos to help me determine where they were sitting. After about 2 hours of gridding the area i had it in my scoop! I will be meeting them Friday to return it and get a photo! Another great day!

LOST WEDDING RING IN LBI NJ FOUND BY MATT ST.GERMAIN/DENNIS BURLIGAME
6/22/20 I was contacted by Gregg. While in Lbi at the beach he decided to go into the water for a dip and while he was out there his ring slipped off his finger. After going over the location and getting an idea on where to start, I went out there the next day to give it a try. He said he believed he was only about 2-4 feet into the water. So for a few hours i went back and forth before the drop off and 4 feet past the drop off. No luck. I felt like maybe he was further out than he may have thought and Gregg agreed. So i went back out again the next day and brought my fellow ring finder and good friend Dennis. I showed Dennis where i had searched already and that it may be in deeper water. We started on opposite ends. I began closer to shore and Dennis went out about 10ft. Within about 5-10 minutes Dennis had found it! Another happy ending thanks to teamwork!

It seems Vinnie lost his wedding band while doing some surf fishing but was not aware until getting back to the house. I made arrangements to meet him today. Luckily all of the marks from his beach cart were still there so i began my search around the area. After about an hour i had found it! Vinnie was surprised i was able to find it and very happy to see it again! Another satisfied customer!

LOST WEDDING RING RECOVERED BY MATT ST.GERMAIN AKA JERSEY SHORE RING FINDER
On August 10th, 2019 I received an email from Jack. While him and his wife were visiting her cousins for the weekend and enjoying a day on their boat, Jack’s 3 month old, Custom made gold wedding band slipped off his finger into the bay while having some fun. This ring had more meaning than just their wedding, It was also made in memory of both their fathers. After speaking with them both multiple times through email, text and on the phone using Google earth we mapped out an approximate search area, they even met up with us the the 3rd attempt to help get us into the right area as close as possible.. I enlisted the help of my good friend and fellow ring Finder Dennis Burlingame for the search that took a total of 4 attempts at about 4hrs per search in water depths up to chest deep. Using my one detector that has gps I would save the areas we searched previously and use coordinates to take us back to where we left off. It was on the 4th day that I was lucky enough to have their ring in my scoop! I immediately sent a photo to them. I was told it was the best thing ever for them to wake up to that morning! They were so very happy! I met with their cousin to give it to them for safe keeping until they return to the area. What a great day!!

LOST HEIRLOOM RING FOUND BY MATT ST.GERMAIN AKA JERSEY SHORE LOST RING FINDER LBI NJ
Yesterday I received a message from Dave. While him and his family were at the beach near the house they rented for the week, He took his heirloom ring off and put it in a pocket of his beach chair even though his daughter offered to hold it for him. When they left he forgot the ring was in the chair until later that day. The ring had fallen out at some point during their walk back to the house. The ring was left to him by his father who recently passed. I made arrangements to meet him later after I got home from work. They showed me where they were and the path they walked back to the street. I gridded a large area including the path to the road. No luck. I went back to my truck to get some bug spray, Spoke.to Dave a bit more then decided to go back out there and continue searching. It is a very important ring after all and I was not willing to give up easily. I started moving closer to the high tide line and closer to the path. Within a few more passes I found it!! About 3-4″ deep. I walked back to the house and texted Dave to please come outside as I was ready to head out. He came outside and said “no luck huh?”. (I admit I kept a bit of a sad look on my face ) I then pulled out the ring and handed it to him. He was in shock for a moment which quickly turned into disbelief followed shortly with relief and joy! I love those moments!

LOST WEDDING BAND FOUND BY MATT ST.GERMAIN AKA JERSEY SHORE LOST RING FINDER MANTALOKING NJ
Last night around 10:30pm I received an email from Dan. While he was at the beach yesterday he went for a swim during high tide. On his way back in he was hit by a wave and his platinum wedding band slipped off into the surf. Luckily he recorded GPS coordinates where he was at the time. I went there this morning during low tide and using his coordinates on my phone I was able to get to the right area. Once I got into position I began to grid search the slope and within 20mins I had it in my scoop! It had already sank about 8-10 inches! I sent Dan a photo of the ring and he called me immediately. He was overjoyed! I am going to meet him during the week to return it to him. Another happy ending!

LOST WEDDING BAND FOUND BY MATT ST.GERMAIN AKA JERSEY SHORE LOST RING FINDER LONG BRANCH NJ
Yesterday I received a call from Dean. He had taken his wedding ring off and put it in the cup holder of his beach chair before going for a swim. Later that day while packing up, His wife had folded up the chairs and as they began walking they realized he didn’t put it back on. By then the ring had fallen out of the chair and into the sand. His Sister brought them her metal detector to try and find it but didn’t have any luck. I made arrangements to meet them at this beach club. The club gave them my info since I did a recovery there about 2 weeks ago. Once I arrived, Dean showed me where they were sitting and the approximate path they took when they left. After a little over an hour I found his ring in the path they walked!. He told me he had little hope it would be found. I’m happy I was able to get it back to him. Him and his wife were very happy!! Another great day!

LOST WEDDING RING FOUND BY MATT ST.GERMAIN AKA JERSEY SHORE LOST RING FINDER SEASIDE PARK NJ
Earlier today I received a call From Mike & Michele. While introducing their adorable little baby girl to her very first beach experience Michele’s wedding band got lost in the sand. They were getting ready to start packing it in and when her husband Mike was giving her back her rings their shade tent and umbrella got swept away by a gust of wind. Mike was able to catch the tent and during that moment he had Michele’s wedding band on his pinky but it was no longer there. A friend of Michele’s referred her to me. I made plans to meet them at the spot they were at yesterday once i got home from work. Once I met them and they showed me the general area where to search I got right to work. After about an hour it had not turned up yet. So Mike asked a few people sitting nearby if they wouldn’t mind moving over a bit to where I already searched. They kindly obliged. Within my second pass I got a good signal and low and behold I found it! They were as happy as can be! A wonderful memory with their daughters first beach experience and Michelle having her ring back where it belongs! I love this hobby!!
