LOST WEDDING RING IN LBI NJ FOUND BY MATT ST.GERMAIN/JERSEY SHORE LOST RING FINDER
Yesterday I received a call from Aileen in PA about her husbands wedding band. He lost it while digging in the sand Memorial day weekend while visiting his parents. She was referred to me through someone. I was able to get out there the same night. She said it was about 10ft behind the high tide line. Since they were there a storm had come through and as I suspected, The ring was moved by higher waves and now 5ft behind the high tide line and I did not even need the detector. While searching a grid my attention was diverted to something shiny partially sticking up out of the sand when my headlamp lit the area. It turned out to be the lost ring! Sent her a photo and then dropped it in her In-laws mailbox. Another happy ending

LOST WEDDING RING IN SPRING LAKE NJ RECOVERED BY MATT ST.GERMAIN/ JERSEY SHORE LOST RING FINDER
I received a message from fellow ring finder Edward Cropski aka/ N.J. Lost Ring Finder on Saturday afternoon about a lost wedding ring in Spring Lake NJ. Her friend found the Ringfinders website and reached out to Ed for her friend Vikki. Ed was away so he referred her to me. I called and made arrangements with Vikki to meet that same afternoon to conduct a search. It seems the ring fell out of her bag while packing up for the day. Her and her friend’s marked out the area they were set up before I arrived. After some chatting I began my search. Within 5 minutes I had her ring in my scoop! She was absolutely thrilled and relieved. She is just 2 weeks shy of celebrating her 1 year anniversary. We all took some photo’s and made our way to the exit. I was happy to find it and return it to her!. But the story isn’t over just yet, In a funny twist while walking back to my truck talking, She realized she forget her sandels. She went back to get them and when she came back she said to me ” It’s so odd, You just found my ring and I just found this iphone” I took a look at it and quickly realized it was my phone! It must have fallen out of my pocket after taking pictures. LOL. The customer has now become the finder! I thanked her and when she attempted to give me a reward but i simply said no thank you, We are even! She did insist on giving me something so I reluctantly and gratefully accepted. Another great ending with good karma for all!

LOST PALLADIUM WEDDING RING IN THE BAY AT TICE’S SHOAL ISLAND BEACH STATE PARK NJ RECOVERED BY MATT ST.GERMAIN & DENNIS BURLIGAME
A few days ago i received a call from a woman named Tina. I was not able to call her back right away so she then called my friend Dennis Burligame who is also a member of the RingFinders.com. They recently married in May. While they were out enjoying themselves with friends at Tice’s Shoal in Island Beach state park in the bay his ring slipped off his finger. Dennis went out there the same afternoon to conduct a search. Tina had him about a 100ft+ in the wrong area it turned out. He was unable to find it. So i met up with Dennis this morning to help him search for it. It was a bit cold out this morning so we donned our wet suits and headed into the water. We started searching the area again. While in the water i took out my cell phone to use the pictures they took to try and get in the right spot and narrow down the search area. After about 3 hrs of digging bottle caps and pull tabs along with the occasional coin i had his ring in my scoop!. Needless to say they were very happy and excited when i called them with the news. They met us about 30mins later to pick it up. Love these happy endings!

LOST WEDDING RING IN SEA BRIGHT NJ FOUND BY MATT ST.GERMAIN AKA JERSEY SHORE LOST RING FINDER
On July 7th i received a message from Edward Cropski aka/ N.J. Lost Ring Finder about a lost wedding ring in Sea Bright NJ. Ryan and his wife were relaxing and enjoying the day when at some point Ryan went into the water and while wading/body surfing during high tide, he watched his ring come right off his finger as a wave came in. He reached out to Ed who then sent him my way as i was closer. It was lost on the 6th, I went out there on the 11th for the 2am low tide and based on map images and a video his wife took of where they were at the time i was able to find it in about 2hrs of searching. They were very happy to hear that i had found it when i sent him a picture and could not believe it!. He told me from now on it is not going to the beach with him again! Another happy couple!

LOST CELL PHONE IN LBI NJ FOUND BY MATT ST GERMAIN / JERSEY SHORE LOST RING FINDER
On July 20th I received an email from a girl named Jamie who had lost her iphone. She purchased a metal detector and searched for it for a few days without any luck. She then reached out to me for some help. Going by the map images she sent me with the last known location of the phone before the battery died, I started a search in that area while marking a grid. The biggest issue working against me is that she told me trucks had come in and dumped more sand on the beach after she lost it. But the phone had been moved around a few times. Most likely from the sand being graded and the beach rake making passes. In about an hour and widening my search area I was able to locate the phone about 12-14″ down. She and her Father were very happy to hear I had found it! Another happy customer!

LOST WEDDING RING IN POINT PLEASANT BEACH NJ FOUND BY MATT ST GERMAIN / JERSEY SHORE LOST RING FINDER
July 31st i got a message from my friend and Fellow Ring Finder Dennis Burligame about a lost ring he attempted to recover but was not able to. He asked me if i would give it a try also knowing i was going to head out that night. Of course i will i told him. He sent me a photo of the area the owner (Nick) had sent to him showing where he was when it was lost. Going by that photo and the time of day it was lost (High tide) I waited until the early Am low tide so i could cover a broader area.Using my minelab Equinox 800 I started my grid up high where it was lost and slowly worked my way down the wet sand slope as close to the water as possible. In a little over and hour i found it close to the water’s edge about 10-12″ deep! The surf had dragged it down the beach and buried it good. Needless to say Nick was very happy when he received a picture of his ring via text and was very thankful to get it back. Another great ending!

LOST HEIRLOOM RING IN SEA BRIGHT NJ FOUND BY MATT ST.GERMAIN AKA JERSEY SHORE LOST RING FINDER
On 8/7/18 I received a message from Shawna about a lost ring. She was visiting a beach in Sea Bright NJ for the day and while swimming in chest deep water during high tide she felt her late mother’s ring slip off her finger in the water. Even though i was off the next day and had some things to take care of i assured her i would go out later that night during the low tide to conduct a search for the ring. The only problem is the weather was not working in my favor. Lightning storms were coming in and i became worried i would not be able to go out that night to look for it. I was watching the lightning tracker like a hawk, Once i saw a small window of opportunity (1hr after the peak low tide) I jumped in my truck and headed out there. With not much time to search now that the tide was already starting to come back in i got there as quickly as i could. I made my way out to the area it was lost and within 15 mins i had found her lost ring! About 8″ deep at the shoreline! I sent her a picture and she came out within 30mins to meet me. I was very happy to reunite her with it! Another wonderful ending!

LOST WEDDING RING AT ISLAND BEACH STATE PARK RECOVERED BY MATT ST.GERMAIN AKA JERSEY SHORE LOST RING FINDER
Last night around 12am while on my way out to a beach with my friend Dennis, I received a message from Fellow Ring Finder Edward Cropski aka N.J. Lost Ring Finder with contact information for Raj, Who also messaged me minutes later. He was at Island Beach State Park earlier that day with his family. While he was wiping the sand off a boogie board his wedding ring flew off his finger. After searching by hand for a few hours he decided to do a web search where he found the Ringfinders website. I went home and slept for a few hours then met him at the beach at 7:30am. During the summer months detecting is not allowed there on the weekends and you also need a permit (Which i have). He was granted permission for me to come and do a search. He and his wife showed me where they were the day before. Within 15 minutes i was able to recover his ring!. Another wonderful ending!

LOST RING IN BELMAR NJ FOUND BY MATT ST.GERMAIN/DENNIS BURLIGAME
In the words of my Buddy Dennis: 6/5/20 Got an email from Rachael while enjoying the day at the beach she laid her high school ring on her towel then decided to move her spot. Forgetting she put it there it got lost in the sand when it fell off. I went right down to the beach after talking to her getting information as to where she was sitting ( she had already left the beach ) and couldn’t find it. Trying to remember and give me an area, she was off some distance from where she really was. Called back and asked for more information she could think of. So with her email and new info I made arrangements with fellow RingFinder Matty St Germain ( 2 detectors are better than one sometimes, what ever it take to reunite someone with their lost item ) to head out together that night because he had a recovery himself a few towns away. We split up the area we figure it should be and Matty came up with the ring. Sorry to say we weren’t as lucky in finding Matty’s recovery but that was lost 3 days earlier and the guy wasn’t sure how or where he lost it. Met up with Rachael 2 days later
